St. Augustine Catholic Church and Student Center is not your average parish. This sleepy-looking, Spanish-tiled church tucked away behind University of Miami’s beautiful Coral Gables campus is home to over two dozen ministries and a thriving community of students, young adults, retirees and young families. You’re just as likely to see a group of people assembled there for 8:00 A.M. Mass as you are for 8:00 P.M. bible study. There is something happening every day and night of the week.
Serving such a sprawling demographic takes a dedicated staff, an army of volunteers and wise stewardship on the part of its priests. It also takes reliable IT. For years St. Augustine needed an IT overhaul, but several factors impeded that process. Finally in the summer of 2019, with the installation of a new parish administrator, Fr. Richard Vigoa, the parish was ready to make the transition. Upon the recommendation of a friend within the young adult community, Fr. Vigoa called us up and a beautiful partnership began!
